Together with
Summary
RTP Company expert Zach Halverson reviews innovative thermoplastic materials that solve a multitude of issues for hand and power tool designers. Zach will briefly introduce RTP Company, then dive into many common problems that can arise in tool applications that utilize thermoplastics, from mechanical shortcomings to high costs. Zach will then review structural thermoplastic technologies available to address those issues, which ultimately provide more robust and economical hand and power tools for your customers. Application examples will be used to illustrate where and how these thermoplastic technologies can be used, and how RTP Company can support your part development process from concept to full production.
Zach Halverson is a graduate of Montana State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He has been with RTP Company’s Structural Product Group for the past 14 years, beginning with 5 years as an R&D Product Development Engineer before moving to a Business Development Engineer position, and finally in his current role as Global Business Manager. These various roles have instilled intimate knowledge of both the technical and commercial side of the thermoplastics industry, and the skills to guide and support customers to success.
